replied to recent inquiries regarding the progress of its membership
database.
The chamber had previously cited software flaws, lack of
qualified personnel, statistical error in the number of its members as the main
obstacles in entering more data of its members.
To support establishing the national membership database of
the Chinese chambers, the DIHK-ACFIC Partnership Project has provided computer
equipment worth RMB 13,550.00 (EURO 1,417.69) to Gansu Longnan Prefecture
Federation of Industry and Commerce since 1999-03-29. The equipment includes:
