An independent expert from May 8 to 16 carried out a routine evaluation of the DIHT-ACFIC Partnership Project. Dr. Ralf Meier, SEQUA Project Manager, Ingrid Ott, DIHT Project Manager in Germany, and Helmut Schoenleber, DIHT Project Director in China, accompanied Fritz Feder, who has previously evaluated numerous development assistance projects of the German government. In Beijing, the evaluation program included separate discussions with ACFIC leaders, the ACFIC liaison and membership departments and the ACFIC information center. The group also had talks with the German Embassy and various other German organizations in Beijing, before taking a short excursion to the Qingdao City Chamber and two Qingdao enterprises. Feder will write a detailed evaluation report for the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
